TRS workers attacked; Madhu Goud‘s car vandalised

HYDERABAD: On the eve of assembly elections in the state, violence broke out in Andole in Medak district and Metpally in Jagital district on Thursday night. In two separate incidents, two persons suffered injuries and a car belonging to a senior Congress leader was vandalised.

In Andole constituency, two Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers were allegedly attacked by people associated with the Congress party and they suffered head injuries. The incident raised tension at Munipalli in Andole constituency. After learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot and the injured were shifted to Sadasivpet area hospital. TRS candidate from Andole constituency, Kranti Kiran, visited the injured party workers in the hospital. The victims informed Kiran that they were attacked by people associated with Congress.

In another incident, former Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud‘s car was vandalised by unknown persons at Metpally in Jagital district. Apart from Yashki‘s car, another car parked nearby was also vandalised.
