Man killed in an accident after ordering food in Jack in the Box drive-thru

In the Missouri department of Jack in the Box drive-thru, the man was killed in a weird accident. He just reached for his food to the window of the fast-food chain.

The 20-year-old man from the area of St. Louis died in a weird accident on Wednesday. He was trying to get some food at the window of Jack in the Box, according to the police reports.

On that day, Charles Wood from Velda City drove to the drive-thru fast-food window somewhere around 10 pm. He had to open the door of the car and to get closer to the window just to pick up his order, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch police.

The official statement says that Wood has opened the doors and reached for the window of Jack in the Box when the order was ready. After he did it, the car went backward and pinned the man against the nearby tree.

Charles Wood received multiple injuries in the neck, head, legs, torso, which were severe. While he was immediately taken to the hospital, doctors could not save him from such traumas.

According to the police, the car just accelerated back.

Doctors pronounced man dead in the hospital.

Press was trying to connect with Jack in the Box administration, but it took a while for them to receive any comment from the fast food chain.

Police reminded that it is very necessary to make sure for every driver that there will be no repeating of the same situation.
